Frequently Asked Questions
How much for a tattoo?
Our shop minimum is $100 and our hourly rate is $150 (Our rates are fairly standard, if not more affordable than most tattoo shops in Portland OR). That being said, the price of a tattoo is often dependent on the design/size/color/placement of the tattoo. Deposits will be taken for tattoos, which goes towards the price of your tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable. Please read our Deposits and Billing Policy here.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash is king. But if that doesn't work for you, our most of our artists independently have card readers to take major debit and credit cards. A small service fee of 3% applies to the reader. Some artist use payment apps such as: Venmo, Paypal, Cash app, ect. Ask before hand what form of payment works best for your artist.
Do I need to make an appointment to get tattooed?
Normally no, appointments are not required. We welcome walk-in and gladly take them if artists are available for tattooing. But we do recommend making appointments.
If I’m under 18, can I get a tattoo?
No, not even with parental consent. It is illegal in the state of Oregon to tattoo minors.
What should I wear when I get tattooed?
Comfortable clothing. Think about the location of your tattoo and come prepared with clothing that you’ll be comfortable getting tattooed in and will allow easy access to the location of your body being tattooed.
Can I bring my friend/boyfriend/mom/kids?
*Due to Covid-19 restrictions, only individuals with appointments are allowed in the shop at their designated appointment time. At this time, please do not bring anyone with you to your tattoo appointment. Thank you.*
In normal circumstances, it’s fine to bring a guest with you to hold your hand or distract you during your tattoo. We just ask you don’t bring a whole crew with you. Other people work or are being worked on in the shop and everyone needs to be respectful of each others personal space. Same thing goes with bringing children to the shop. We allow it, but as soon as your child starts to be disturbing/distracting to the artists and other costumers, we will ask you to remove them from the shop.
Is there anything I should do before I come in for my tattoo?
We just suggest you eat something before you come in. Keep that blood sugar level high. And if you’re getting tattooed on/in an intimate location on your body, maybe shower and wash that area for us? Remember your artist’s face will be fairly close to you.
